Admit it. Even though you are really up to keeping your online business running, you cannot do everything that needs to be done. Surely, there will be some tasks that you do not how to do and there are things that you simply don’t want to do. So what is the best way to keep your online business operational? Go outsourcing.

Outsourcing is a common term especially used when it comes to online business. It refers to the process of hiring other people to assist you in your company. It simply means letting them do the tasks that you don’t want to do or that you are not good at doing. There will also be times that you would have to employ the services of people who live far away from where you are. That is why it is only necessary for you to learn how outsourcing can be done to ensure your business’ success.

First of all, try to make a list of all the activities and tasks that has to be done in your business to keep it going on a daily basis. Then decide on what particular areas you actually need help with. You can always start with something small, like having someone do delivery tasks for you or have someone answer all the calls. Soon, you can outsource other tasks like web design, graphics, customer support and other similar things that are important for your online business.

The next thing to do is to look for the right people to help you do those jobs. You can also ask for referrals to be able to find people to outsource your work to. This is important because finding the right people to help you run your business can help you have more free time to focus on other things thus making you more productive.

Do the things that you can and want to do. Give up the urge to handle every little detail of your online business. As a business owner, you must realize that you should focus more on the marketing aspect of your business instead of its daily mechanics.

Outsourcing is one of the best ways to effectively manage your business. When you choose to outsource, you will eventually find that you can accomplish much more by simply hiring others and delegating tasks to them. Not only will outsourcing help you build a stronger business online but can also help you attain the lifestyle that you will enjoy better.

Saving Mother Earth is no easy task. There’s always something that needs to be sacrificed in order to protect and maintain a healthy environment. Let’s take transportation, particularly cars, as an example. A car’s efficiency is practically its main purpose as well – it takes its driver to a certain destination in a convenient, effortless and timely manner. As compared to eco-friendly alternatives such as biking, public transportation or walking, driving a car is one sacrifice that most people can’t – and won’t – seem to commit to.

But with the advent of green technology, motorists wouldn’t need to worry or sacrifice their cars anymore. Green vehicles have recently made its mark as not only efficient eco-friendly rides, but as vehicles that can very much perform as well – even better – as their pollution-laden, gasoline emission counterparts.

Green vehicles do come in different types. To help you out on which type would best suit you, here’s a short listing on some popular eco-friendly vehicles:

Hybrid
These cars still contain a gasoline engine, but come with an added eco-friendly efficiency of a built-in electrical engine. Drivers can switch between the two propulsion systems, leading to a cost-efficient (less gasoline expenditure) and clean air drive. A popular hybrid car is the Toyota Prius, known for having the useful feature to charge its electric battery by simply stepping on its brakes.

Electric
A vehicle that virtually produces zero emissions, these cars are the most practical option in saving (in terms of fuel expenditure). By just being powered by batteries, these cars can simply be charged for a safe, clean air ride. Drawbacks for these cars are the lack of battery charging stations and overall vehicle performance (but car manufacturers have recently stepped up to develop more powerful electric vehicles).

Ethanol
Don’t drink and drive is a common adage probably known to motorists everywhere. With ethanol vehicles, you can actually let your car do the drinking. By using alcohol as a fuel, ethanol vehicles serve as a greener alternative to gasoline vehicles.

Hydrogen
Aside from ethanol, hydrogen is another alternative to gasoline cars. Zero emissions are produced from hydrogen vehicles, making it at par with electric cars for being the cleanest among green vehicle types. Popular because even overall vehicle performance is not lost, models such as the Honda FCX have successfully breached the buying market.

These four green vehicle types are just some options on how to drive green. We may be seeing more, even better options in the future, but with the way things seem to be rolling now, we can be sure that motorists need not sacrifice anything important to save the Earth.

India Outsourcing

India Outsourcing has always been favored over local outsourcing by countries such as America because Indians are competent in both spoken and written English. This comes as a result of the country being a colony of Britain in the past.

Thus, the language of instruction was English, and the system of education veered towards science and technology, giving India an edge in the IT business. With a good grasp of the English language and the technological expertise on their side, delegating work to Indian companies is certainly a viable option.

One disadvantage that Indians have, on the other hand, is that they possess a distinctive Indian accent which may dissuade certain clients and companies from hiring them.

Philippine Outsourcing

In recent years, The Philippines has been making large strides in breaking into the outsourcing business. With an English literacy rate of over ninety percent, and with most Filipinos having the ability to speak in convincing American accents, the call center business, for one, is booming in the country.

Another advantage this country has, especially in dealing with Americans, is the fact that it used to be an American colony. Thus, the country is very westernized not only in language but also in culture. Furthermore, being a country that relies heavily on tourism for income, The Philippines has citizens that are very service and customer-oriented.

Nevertheless, the country also has two clear disadvantages when compared to India, at present. First, plenty of talented Filipinos working in the IT sector have left the country to work for international companies abroad. But, perhaps they will be more inclined to stay home as bigger outsourcing companies set up businesses in the Philippines.

Another problem is that Filipinos are generally paid higher than Indians are, although the cost of hiring them is still quite low. In the end, investing in both countries has its own pros and cons.

Do you hire those better in technology or those better in English speaking and writing? These are some of the things to consider in choosing between India outsourcing and Philippine outsourcing.

Outsourcing is an industry that is proven to be recession-proof. People who want to go into outsourcing want to know the reasons to outsource and the reasons not to outsource. Some people who want to be authority about outsourcing tell us only the advantages while others tell us only the disadvantages.

Here is a more balanced view of outsourcing:

Reasons to Outsource

The top reasons to outsource are financial. A company can reduce significant operations cost when they outsource certain departments that don’t need to be in their office. They will have people to pay, less computers and lights to use. They will also pay a lot less for the outsourcing services because the cost of human resources are lower when outsourced.

Reasons not to Outsource

Since you are outsourcing your work to a foreign country, the top reasons not to outsource are human resources related. There can be communications problems and the people who are employed in your offshore office may not be as competent as those that are in your country.

You should weigh the reasons before you decide on outsourcing. Take note that almost all US companies are outsourcing at least one of their departments. But this doesn’t mean that you should too. You should first study your office and the outsourcing industry in the country that you want.

Why do a lot of American, Canadian and Australian medium-sized businesses and big corporations choose Philippines as for their call center outsourcing? There are a lot of Asian countries that offer lower costs for these companies but they still choose to work with offshore experts and workers in the Philippines mainly because of the traits of the work force there.

Filipinos are known to have affinity with the American culture having at least 1 relative, friend or neighbor who is living or working in the US, they better English American accents and they are very hardworking people.

Philippines became a colony of United States for more than 45 years and this had a big impact in the culture of the Filipinos. Filipinos can relate better to American culture and they have understanding of the psychology of Westerners. They also have been exposed to American movies and products since the American colonization of the country so they can establish good working relation with American better than other people from other Asian countries.

Since English is one of the official language in the country, Filipinos adapt better with American accent. They speak English better and they can learn to speak with American accent easily. But even without the American accent, the spoken English of the Filipinos is neutral and is not annoying to listen to especially when they’re on the phone.

Perhaps the most important reason why companies continue to enjoy working with Filipinos for their call center outsourcing is because Filipinos are hardworking. They are willing to go the extra mile at work enduring long graveyard shifts because they are naturally hard-working and very patient people. They also have very close relationship with their family so they work harder so that they can provide better life for their families.

With millions of people who are receiving unemployment benefits from the American government and countring, outsourcing is one issue that Barack Obama has been mentioning in his speeches. Right now there are more than 4 million unemployed and 2 million underemployed Americans. Fresh graduates of IT in America is competing with IT experts in India. American companies choose the latter because of the significant drop in labor cost.

Barack Obama views outsourcing as something that cannot be halted. In one of his speeches before he won the Presidency, he mentions that globalization cannot be reversed. As long as there’s internet connection, outsourcing will always be a key business component in American firms. But he also mentioned that he will make it harder for companies to outsource and he will give tax benefits to companies who do not outsource.

Barack’s take on outsourcing is realistic. He knows that he cannot stop it altogether. It has been one of the main reasons why American companies are still afloat despite tough economic times in United States. But with millions of people losing their jobs every month, Barack also wants American companies to hire Americans.
